  • New Treatment Facility Coming Soon
Established in 2017, Steps Together opened its first new facility [Bank House] in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, setting out to treat 150 adults affected by addiction each year. Only one and a half years old next month, Bank House and the company have already exceeded this, providing treatment and support to just over 400 clients already.

Chief Executive, Darren Rolfe said that he was delighted that the company has been a small part of helping so many people rebuild their lives and find their recovery. Darren said …“When I opened our first centre in 2017, I never expected that our services would make such a difference to so many people, or their families across the UK and I am so proud that our staff and services have been able to reach out to so many people in such a short amount of time and help them rebuild their lives and it is so great to see so many people get well”

The company has worked with just over 400 clients experiencing difficulty with alcohol, drugs and other addictions, and supported in excess of 1300 family members and their children.

Growing from strength to strength, Steps Together Rehab have now increased our range of services to include a new program of private one-to-one therapies for clients and families at different stages in their recovery.

In March 2019, Steps Together will also be opening their second Residential Centre. Set in the tranquil countryside retreat of Arnesby, Leicestershire, The Chestnuts will provide the perfect setting for a calm, tranquil and effective recovery from addiction.

Our family was broken…My children lived in fear and shame every day as my husband’s drinking was destroying his life and ours. Your help, support, treatment and compassion for us all, has literally changed our lives forever! Thanks to you Dave is in recovery and doing really well, and our family is full of hope, love and happiness once more. From the bottom of our hearts…Thank You! ”

FAMILIES MATTER

The impact of addiction on families and loved ones can be devastating. In the UK over 1.5 million families and nearly 10 million individual family members are left to cope with the effects of their loved ones addiction.

Shame, guilt, fear, anger and isolation are often all feelings that families go through because of addiction. The impact this can have on their own mental and physical health and wellbeing can be catastrophic, leaving many family members broken and lost in their fight to care.

At Steps Together we understand how hard this can be, and how much a family in recovery can make a real difference to the life of their loved one during their long road to recovery. It is therefore essential that we are able to support families to gain the skills, understanding and strength they need to cope.

New Family Intervention Service

On the 1st February, Steps Together launched its first ever Family specific service Designed to offer clients and their families private weekly therapy sessions, The New Family Intervention Service is the perfect place to rebuild your family and your recovery.

These sessions are designed to work with families before, during and after their loved ones treatment, and will help families to:

  • Work through the illness of addiction, understanding more about it and ways to achieve recovery
  • Identify early someone’s addiction and find strategies and treatment designed around them
  • Gain support and therapy in their own right, ensuring family members are armed with the toolkit they need to cope with addiction and support recovery

Individual or block sessions can be arranged, please see our list of prices and conditions on page 4. For more information or to book your Private Family Interventions, contact Debbie, Lead Therapist (Leicester) on:

New Regional Aftercare Group

Since opening Steps Together Rehab, the Nottingham Aftercare Service has grown from strength to strength with regular attendance by many of you. Over the last 6 months, lots of our clients told us that they would prefer a group closer to their home area, so we have reviewed this position and are pleased to be able to confirm that we are expanding our Network of Aftercare to cover a new county.

Steps Together Rehab has launched its new Leicestershire & Surrounding Areas Aftercare Group. Over 40 clients live in, or around the County and its neighbouring areas, and we are delighted to be able to offer this service more locally to you all.

The new Aftercare Group will be operational in Leicester from this date and will enable anyone who has previously received treatment in Nottingham to be able to access a new group on their doorstep in Leicestershire.

We know how important your recovery is to you and helping you to sustain this once you leave treatment is really important to us. Why not join us and be the first to share your recovery story with friends?

AFTERCARE COMES TO LEICESTER
