ALCOHOL AWARENESS WEEK

It’s alcohol awareness week from the 16th to 22nd November 2020.

Alcohol forms part of everyday life for many people – Catching up with friends, alongside a good meal or simply at the end of busy day to help you unwind. With careful control, Alcohol can form a healthy part of everyday life, but can often spiral out of control and quietly become a necessity each day, placing you at serious risk of dependency or habitual drinking. This can have a negative effect on your physical, social, financial and mental health over long periods of time.

COVID-19 has seen many people lose structure and purpose to their daily lives. Early evening drinks have suddenly become a lunchtime normality. More and more people are opening the bottle far earlier than they previously did. We can help you with this!

At Steps Together we have a team of understanding experts who can help you get this under control before it becomes a problem, offering a combination of

  • Home Detoxification
  • Outpatient counselling and Therapy Services, supported by an expert Physical Health & Wellbeing check-up.
  • Our new innovative Liver care Scanning Service – checking the health of your liver and helping you stay well

For many people, alcohol use has not reached a problem and we can support you with excellent advice, guidance and home detoxification programmes. These are designed to ensure you are able to remain in control of your life without alcohol becoming a major problem and are all built around your needs.

If your alcohol use feels like it is out of control, then maybe our Residential Alcohol Detox programmes,  at either of our two amazing residential treatment centres, may be just what you need to re-set and rebalance your life.
